Virtual ItemsPolicy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
The basics
This HUGE TV Virtual Items Policy (the “Policy”) covers the following Virtual Items you can earn, buy, and use on the Platform: Crystals, Huge Votes, and Huge Points (as defined below). The Policy explains what each of these Virtual Items does, how you get and use it, and what happens when balances expire, are refunded, or change.
Capitalized words not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If the Terms and this Policy say different things about Virtual Items, this Policy wins on that issue.
Virtual Items are gameplay, not money or property. They enable you to use features inside the Platform for our Services.
Virtual Items have no cash value. You cannot cash them out, sell them, trade them, gift them, transfer them to another Account, or leave them to someone in a will. You also cannot buy them from anyone we have not expressly authorized.
Cash, gift cards, products, services, cryptocurrency, and other external Rewards are not Virtual Items.
The three Virtual Items
Three Virtual Items, three different purposes.
Crystals: unlock more play
Crystals are the only Virtual Items you can buy. Use them to refill your Huge Votes or unlock optional features, like raising the submission limit for a Challenge you create or generating additional AI-created images used to visually represent your Challenge in the Platform (“AI Cover Images”).
You buy Crystals through Apple’s in-app purchase system. They currently come in packs of 5, 20, 50, 250, and 1,000, priced at US$0.99, US$2.99, US$5.99, US$24.99, and US$79.99, respectively.
We may change Crystal prices and pack sizes at any time and from time to time in our sole discretion. The price shown in the Platform when you purchase a Crystal is the price that applies to you.
However, you may not need to pay to receive Crystals. You currently get one when you sign up, and HUGE may also award Crystals to you through Platform Challenges or promotions in its sole discretion.
Huge Votes: pick the winners
“Huge Votes” are the voting currency to use on the Platform. Spend them on the videos you rate and help decide which entries win a Challenge.
Huge Votes cannot be purchased. You get them for free, and they regenerate in batches of five. The number of Huge Votes you can hold in your Account depends on your progression status on the Platform (the “Level”):
| Level | Huge Vote Balance Cap |
|---|---|
| 1 | 3 |
| 2 | 5 |
| 3 | 7 |
| 4 | 9 |
| 5 and above | 10 |
Huge Votes regenerate in batches of five. The regeneration timer starts at 14 minutes at Level 1 and becomes shorter as your Level increases, reaching five minutes at the highest Levels. Free regeneration stops once you have received a total of 50 Huge Votes through free regeneration during a day and resumes when the daily limit resets at midnight UTC.
For each Challenge, you may use Huge Votes on a number of qualifying videos equal to up to 50% of the Challenge’s participants. However, if 50% would allow you to vote on fewer than five videos, you may vote on up to five qualifying videos. This limit applies equally to all Users and cannot be increased by using Crystals.
Bonus Votes. Sharing, inviting Users, and getting likes may earn you extra Huge Votes. Those Bonus Votes are stacked on top of your usual Huge Votes balance cap, but they do not raise the ceiling on the total number of Huge Votes your Account can hold each day.
Huge Points: level up
“Huge Points”, or “HP”, track your progress on the Platform. The amount of HP decides your Level, which unlocks or improves certain features and benefits, including your Huge Vote cap, regeneration speed for Huge Votes, and ability to create Challenges.
You earn HP through your activity on the Platform. The current awards include:
- 300 HP for successfully submitting a qualifying Challenge video;
- 100 HP when a video you supported finishes in the Top 3;
- 50 HP per participant for the Challenge Creator when a Challenge completes; and
- Any extra HP offered as a Platform Challenge reward.
The 300 HP for submitting is a participation reward, not a winner prize. If the Challenge is later called off or ends without a winner, that HP stays yours.
HP is only earned, not purchased, and cannot be spent. They build your Level and unlock the perks that come with it.
Spending Crystals
Refill your votes. When you run out of Huge Votes, one Crystal tops up your Huge Votes back to the cap for your current Level.
Each refill also raises that day’s limit by the number of Huge Votes it adds, up to a maximum of 100 Huge Votes for the day. The cap on the number of Huge Votes you can use on each Challenge does not change. Crystals give you more room to vote across Challenges, not more power over the result for one Challenge.
Unlock other features. Crystals can also raise the submission limit for a Challenge you create or generate more AI Cover Images after the first free one.
Crystals do not buy wins
Crystals can refill your votes. They cannot buy the result.
Every valid Huge Vote counts once. The per-Challenge Huge Vote cap applies to everyone. Create a Challenge and you sit it out as a voter. Enter one and you sit that one out too.
No use of second Accounts, bots, purchase or trading of Huge Votes, or coordinated voting. Break those rules and we can cancel the Virtual Items, remove your Huge Votes or your submitted Challenge entries, and take action under the Terms and Community Guidelines.
Virtual Items as licenses
Virtual Items are licenses to use features within our Services.
Earn or buy a Virtual Item and you get a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it inside our Platform.
Refunds and reversals
Want a refund?
Refunds of any purchases you make within our Services (e.g., refunds of Crystal packs purchases) may require you to go through Apple. Apple reviews your request under its refund policy and makes the call. HUGE does not control the outcome.
Apple may ask us how many Crystals from the pack you have already spent. We may share the relevant purchase and consumption data with Apple in connection with your request, along with our preferred outcome. By accepting the Terms and this Policy, you agree to our sharing of such information when you ask Apple for a refund.
While the request is being reviewed, we may freeze the disputed Crystals.
A refund takes the Crystals back
If Apple refunds, reverses, or invalidates a Crystal purchase, we may remove the Crystals associated with that purchase, including any that have already been used. This does not affect Crystals you received without purchasing them.
Spent means spent
Once you spend Crystals on an in-app feature, they are gone.
That includes Crystals used to raise a Challenge’s submission limit. They do not come back because the Challenge is edited, called off, rejected during review, or misses the minimum number of submissions. Relaunch the same Challenge and the paid upgrade carries over.
No cash-out
Crystals, Huge Votes, and HP stay inside the Platform. None of them can be redeemed for cash, anything with a cash value, a prize, or anything else outside the Services without our express written agreement.
Expiration and Account changes
Bonus Votes move fast. They expire 24 hours after you earn them.
Crystals do not expire. Purchased and earned Crystals remain available in your Account until you use them or your Account is closed or terminated. The same terms apply to all Crystals, regardless of whether you purchased or received them.
HP stick around. They do not expire while your Account is open and in good standing.
Suspended? Everything pauses. You cannot post, vote, comment, or earn while suspended, but your existing progress and balances stay put.
Gone for good means gone for good. A permanent ban or Account closure forfeits the unused Virtual Items on your Account, except where the law says otherwise. You cannot move them to another Account on the way out.
HUGE Services and Policy may change
The Services are continually evolving. We may add, modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue Virtual Items and related features, and may update this Policy, subject to applicable law.
Changes to the Services and Policy alone generally will not entitle you to a refund or replacement of the Virtual Items in your Account, except as required by this Policy, applicable law, or Apple’s applicable rules.
If a change materially affects your use of the Services or Virtual Items, we will provide notice through the App, by email, or by another reasonable method before the change takes effect, where required by applicable law. We will also update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Policy. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Policy, you must stop using the Services and close your Account.
